Volume License Manager Configuration:
Server Configuration:
Start the Activation Wizard. Click on the button “Configure”
This will open a new window. Choose the radio button for “Volume License Manager Server”; Click “Next”
This will take you to the next screen. Here you can choose the IP Address of your machine or leave it as 0.0.0.0 to use all available interfaces. You can enter the port number or leave it as the default of 5000. Click “Finish”
You will be taken back to the first screen of the Activation Wizard. You should see the “Activation Type” change to “Server” as below:
Client Configuration:
Start the Activation Wizard on the client machine. Click on “Configure”
This will open up a new window. Choose the radio button for “Volume License Manager Client”; Click “Next”
This will take you to the next screen. Here you will need to input the IP Address of the server and the port number you chose when configuring the server (Default port number is 5000); Click “Finish”
You will be taken back to the first screen of the Activation Wizard. You should see the “Activation Type” change to “Gateway” as below:
