Hardware ID's (HWID) used for licensing are implemented differently depending on if you have a newer or older version of the SDK.
In the old version of IDKit SDK 2.74 and compatible License Manager 1.12 there is a BUG causes the HWID to be reported differently between admin and normal users on some Windows machines. It can be solved by generating the HWID under admin user, if you need to run the application as an admin user.
In newer versions of the SDK, this has been addressed. Upgrading to the newest IDKit SDK should resolve the need to run as an admin user, but only if your use-case doesn't require a specific version of the SDK that exhibits this behavior.
