1. Connect RealScan-G10 device to your PC.
2. Execute RS-G10F FWChangeTool
3. Click [Connect] button
4. Click [Get device information] button
- Make sure that "Device name" is "RealScan-G10F".
- If yes, its status will be changed into active mode from inactive mode. If not, notify to us w/o any further action for RMA process
5. Firmware change
- Click [FW change(RS-G10F to RS-G10] button
- Reconnect the device after firmware downloading successfully
* Make sure that you shall not disconnect or reboot PC during firmware change
6. Click [Get device information] button
- Make sure that "Device name" is "RealScan-G10"
7. Re-Calibration process
- We strongly recommend that you clean sensor surface for a proper calibration
- Put a sensor prism cover to avoid external light or direct sunlight
- Click [Recalibration] button
* Make sure that you shall wait until "Recalibration Status...." progress bar reaches 100%
* It will take maximum 3 minutes
* Make sure that you shall not disconnect or reboot PC during firmware change
8. Exit the Tool
9. Check you can capture fingerprint properly after firmware change.
