Server Dongle License is on another machine

Please follow these steps to establish License Server in Server mode and to acquire licenses from this license server on other machines:

Steps to be followed on that "machine where License USB Dongle is connected physically (called License Server Machine):
1. To create License Server in "Server" mode, please follow the steps exactly as written/shown in screenshots of "License Server using NT Activation Wizard v4.3" section of attached documentation.
2. Find "pg.exe", located in the "Activation" folder. Note: Please make sure that this file is added as exception in Inbound and Outbound Rules of Windows Firewall of this machine.
3. Please make sure that License USB Dongle must not be removed from this machine, during or after this whole process.


Steps to be followed on that machine where FbF bioServer is installed (called as BioServer Machine) to access Licenses from Remote License Server:
1. Run "C:\Program Files (x86)\Fulcrum Biometrics\FbF bioServer\Activation\ActivationWizardDotNet.exe".
2. Before proceeding further, please make sure that status of activation services must be stopped as displayed by activation wizard. If activation services is in running state, please stop activation service using Stop button in upper right of activation wizard window .
3. Click on "Dongle (VLM) Client" button from above panel in Activation Wizard window.
4. A new pop up window will appear, please click "Next" and uncheck "Enable Broadcast Configuration". Now, provide Local IP address of License Server Machine in the "IP Address" field and port of License Server Machine at which license service is running (default 5000), in the “Port” field. 
5. Click Next button and then click "Install Activation Service" on next screen.
6. Click on Finish to complete the process.
7. Run the FbF bioServer Admin Utility using "Run As Administrator" option. 
8. Stop the FbF bioServer using “Stop” button from left panel and click on "Configuration" tab.
9. Enter the Local IP address of License Server Machine in the License Server IP field and port of License Server Machine at which license service is running (default 5000), in the port field.
10. Click on "Apply" button to save changes.
11. Start FbF bioServer using "Start" button from left panel.
