First Step: Exit out of your livescan application and then Navigate to C:\Valtabs\Nevada_a524d87e-7a34-42d5-af4a-58b9a2ba4a42 on your livescan computer. Data corruption may occur if you do not follow this step. (Fulcrum NOT responsible for data loss.)
Updating Accounts
- Right click on accountnumber.txt and select Open With Notepad.
- The left-hand column has the account number and the right-hand column has the Descriptor. Do not change spacing. It will cause the valtabs to mis-function.
- Enter new Account #, hit the space bar (NOT TAB) to move to the next column. Add descriptor.
- Click File then Save.
- Re-open LiveScan, then open a new record. Check to see that the new account # is in the dropdown lists. If you don’t see a dropdown list, it means that you may have used the tab button or mis-spaced something, which broke the valtabs. Please submit a ticket at support.fulcrumbiometrics.com for help.
Updating Reason Fingerprinted
- Right click on reasonprinted.txt and select Open With Notepad.
- The left-hand column has the NRS number and the right-hand column has the Descriptor. Do not change spacing. It will cause the valtabs to mis-function.
- Enter new NRS # (don’t enter NRS-only the numbers), hit the space bar (NOT TAB) to move to the next column. Add descriptor.
- Click File then Save.
- Exit out of your livescan application and then reopen it. Then open a new record. Check to see that the new NRS # is in the dropdown lists. If you don’t see a dropdown list, it means that you may have used the tab button or mis-spaced something, which broke the valtabs. Please submit a ticket at support.fulcrumbiometrics.com for help.
