Biometrika Driver Installation:

*Please note, do not plug in the scanner until after you install the drivers*

These drivers are compatible with the following scanners:

Fx2000/2100, Fx3000/3100, HiScan and HiScan-Pro

The driver download will be a zipped folder which will need to be saved locally to your machine.  A good example would be your desktop.

You will need to extract the contents of the folder by right clicking on the folder and choosing “Extract All”

A new window will pop up asking where you want to save the unzipped folder. If you keep the default location, the unzipped folder will save to the same location as the zipped folder.

Double click the unzipped folder to view the contents. There will be 4 folders and 8 other items inside the folder.

Double click on the “BiometrikaDriver” application to start the setup wizard.

You may get a Security Warning pop up; Click on “Run”

A new window will pop up for the Setup Wizard. Click “Install” to start the driver install.

A Windows Security window will pop up. You can check the box for “Always trust software from” so that you do not see this pop up again during any other installations by Biometrika. Click “Install”

Once the installation is complete, you will see a window like below; Click “OK”

You can now plug the scanner into your machine.

A Biometrika Demo Application will automatically be installed under “Control Panel” on your machine.
